Here are the top stories today in Toledo:

  1. 22-year-old Nicholas Spino has died after his car was struck by another vehicle on Dorr Street between Secor and N. Byrne Road Wednesday morning around 2:30 AM. The other car, driven by 38-year-old Roderick Foster, struck Spino's vehicle as Spino was making a left turn from Byrne to westbound Dorr. Toledo Police state no one was found at fault in the accident. (13abc Action News)
  2. The Toledo Police Department is seeking help from the community to identify two suspects involved in a theft at a KP Mart on Airport Highway on November 30. Footage shows the individuals making purchases with a stolen credit card and citizens may call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. (WTOL)
  3. A crash involving four vehicles has closed a lane on I-75 from the Disalle Bridge to the entrance at Detroit Avenue on Tuesday. Both Toledo Police and Toledo Fire responded to the scene, where it was reported there were no injuries. It was unclear when the lane was to be reopened. (WTOL)
  4. The Toledo Federation of Teachers plans to hold a community symposium to address rising youth violence in the Glass City. The US surgeon general has declared youth mental health a national emergency. The symposium is planned for the end of January and is supported by Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz. (WNWO NBC 24)
  5. Around 7,7699 positive COVID cases dating back to March will be officially added to Ohio's COVID statistics after manual reporting errors occurred at two laboratories. The reporting issue is now resolved according to the Ohio Department of Health. (13abc Action News)
