Hello again, hello! I'm back in your inbox this morning with your fresh copy of the Toledo Daily, fresh off the presses. Let's get this Tuesday started off right with a quick dive into everything you need to know about what's happening these days in town, including updates on:

  • Toledo police are searching for the mother of a 2-year-old who died from a fentanyl overdose on August 12.
  • Police have revealed the identity of Sunday's fatal traffic accident on the Anthony Wayne Trail US-24 in Maumee as a 16-year-old Stark County High School student.
  • A victim of a shooting on October 6 has succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Friday.

Toledo Police are searching for Treyonna Smith, who is facing felony charges of endangering children and obstructing justice after the tragic fentanyl overdose death of her two-year-old child Jordynn Smith on August 12. Smith's boyfriend Joshua Johnson was previously indicted on involuntary manslaughter and possession of a fentanyl related compound charges by a Lucas County Grand Jury. (WTVG)
  2. Sunday's fatal traffic accident victim has been identified as 16-year-old Jacob Brown after the crash on the Anthony Wayne Trail US-24 in Maumee. Jacob was a junior at Canton Central High School in Stark County. (WTOL)
  3. A Toledo police officer was injured attempting to remove 25-year-old Alejandro Salazar Jr. after a car chase that ended with police deploying stop sticks. Salazar fled from an initial stop at Berdan Avenue and Martha Avenue around 10:40 PM Friday night. (WTOL)
  4. Johnathan Coleman, 26, has died in the hospital Oct. 15 after being shot along with two others on October 6. The three were struck while in a vehicle at Lagrange and Expressway. (WTVG)
  5. Arab and Jewish women from Israel's Western Galilee region will be stopping in Toledo November 6-9 as part of the "Women Leading a Dialogue" group. A large interfaith program open to the public will be held at Wildwood Metropark's Ward Pavilion. (BG Independent News)
