Linda M. Knepp Sworn In As Juvenile Court Judge In Lucas County

Prior to that time, Judge Knepp spent 16 years as an Administrative Hearing Officer with the Lucas County Child Support Enforcement Agency.

Linda M. Knepp was sworn in as a Judge of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division, by Common Pleas Probate Judge, Hon. Jack R. Puffenberger, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 12:00 noon.

We are thrilled to welcome Judge Linda M. Knepp to the Juvenile Court Family!

Judge Knepp has served as a Magistrate at the Lucas County Probate Court since March 2020. In her prior position, she served as an Assistant Lucas County Prosecuting Attorney in the Juvenile Division. In 2012, she pursued an opportunity working with the Adult Probation Department of the Common Pleas Court, where she implemented a program of close supervision in lieu of custodial treatment. During that time, she also facilitated group sessions in cognitive behavioral therapy (“Thinking for a Change”).

Prior to that time, Judge Knepp spent 16 years as an Administrative Hearing Officer with the Lucas County Child Support Enforcement Agency. She also worked three years with the Lucas County Auditor’s Office.
