- American Airlines is canceling its flight route from Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport to Charlotte, North Carolina beginning November 2021. Port Authority Director of Communication Holly Kemler is hopeful that the route will resume once the market conditions stabilize.(13abc Action News)
- Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan visited Toledo Wednesday to meet with minority entrepreneurs and discuss Ohio's infrastructure. Ryan campaigned on fighting for workers in Ohio and is embarking on a "Workers First Tour" throughout the state. (WTOL)
- A couple in West Toledo have had trees fall on both of their cars as a result of heavy storms early Wednesday morning. They report being grateful the trees did not cause more severe damage to their home or neighboring homes. (WTOL)
- One Toledo family is honoring the memory of Polly Hylant Tracy, who succumbed to cancer in 1990. Since then, the family has held a volleyball tournament that has raised over $2 million for breast cancer support and awareness. The 30th annual Pollyball Tournament will be held Saturday, August 21 at International Park. (13abc Action News)
- Toledo Fire and Rescue were dispatched to Anderson Parkway and Groveland Road Tuesday morning for reports of an injured person. At the scene, a man was discovered trapped under a car and was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing. (13abc Action News)
