  1. Five people have pleaded not guilty for the kidnapping and murder of Toledo teenagers Ke'Marion Wilder and Kyshawn Pittman. Three of the defendants were arraigned with multi-million dollar bonds at a hearing on Wednesday with the two others scheduled for January 17. (WTVG)
  2. Interim Toledo Police Chief Michael Troendle shared his plans to tackle crime and violence in the city. Chief Troendle emphasized community engagement and strengthening positive public interactions with the police. (WNWO NBC 24)
  3. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to several crashes on I-75 in Findlay Thursday afternoon. A semi truck rolled over around 2:00 PM and two other crashes occurred around 3:15 PM. One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (WTVG)
  4. The Toledo Museum of Art will honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 16 from 11 AM - 5 PM by offering programs connecting to King's legacy and his "I Have a Dream Speech." (Bgindependentmedia.org)
  5. James Baker Jr. was arraigned in Sandusky County on aggravated vehicular homicide and driving under the influence charges for the September death of 20-year-old BGSU student David 'Ryan' Walker of Virmillion, OH. Ryan's mother Belinda was in the vehicle when it was struck and believes the 2-8 year possible prison sentence is too light and that car should be safer. (WTOL)
