Hello all. I'm back with your new edition of the Toledo Daily, fresh off the presses. Let's get this Thursday started off right with a quick guide to the most important things happening these days in town, including updates on:
- Maumee Police announced 14-year-old Oliver Brush has been missing since around 10 PM Tuesday.
- Toledo City Council members and the Coalition for Peaceful Toledo Neighborhoods are leading an effort to "restrengthen" community block watches.
- A Water Boil Advisory was announced by the City of Toledo for several neighborhoods in South Toledo.

Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- Maumee Police announced 14-year-old Oliver Brush has been missing since Tuesday around 10 PM. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers. (WTOL)
- Toledo City Council members and the Coalition for Peaceful Toledo Neighborhoods are leading an effort to "restrengthen" community block watches. Council Members George Sarantou and Theresa Morris are leading the charge as there have been 59 homicides in Toledo this year. (WTOL)
- A Water Boil Advisory was announced by the City of Toledo for several neighborhoods in South Toledo. A map of the affected areas can be accessed online. (WTVG)
- Several area schools have seen an increase in "false reports of active shooters," including Toledo, Findlay, Lima and more. Police have responded to the threats and Liberty-Benton and Findlay went on lockdown. (WTVG)
- Bowling Green State University has implemented efforts to make its on-campus dining halls more sustainable. Risks from food waste include methane gas buildup in landfills and an increase in greenhouse gases. (WNWO)

- Toledo Police announced Victor Cole has been found safe after he was reported missing two months ago in the South End. (WTOL)
- BGSU Social Work students Chloe Cox, Madeline Gibbons and Piper Howard are teaming up with the Cherry Street Mission to raise awareness of area homelessness. (BG Falcon Media)
