- Christopher Johnson was arrested by Toledo Police on 16 theft charges Thursday for allegedly stealing delivery packages off porches throughout the city. Police apprehended Johnson after using doorbell camera footage to narrow down his vehicle. (WTVG)
- Three Ohioans from Perry were indicted Wednesday on charges for breaching the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Ryan Swoope, Saul Llamas, and Jordan Siemers were all charged with offenses related to the event, with Swoope receiving additional felony charges including assaulting officers with a dangerous weapon. - Mercy Health and the Ohio Department of Health's Breast and Cervical Cancer Project are offering free screenings for women facing insurance challenges. Workers are helping people sign up throughout the city, but those interested may also call or sign up on the Ohio Department of Health website. (WNWO)
- The Toledo Lucas County Emergency Rental Assistance Program has received a $34 million boost thanks to a U.S. Department of Treasury grant. The City of Toledo is hosting sign up events at area libraries through January, or more information can be accessed online. (WNWO)
- Bowling Green State University hockey player Austen Swankler is currently second in the country in points, with 15 goals and 36 points over 25 games. Swankler is in contention for the Hobey Baker award, which no BGSU Falcon has won since Brian Holzinger in the 1994-1995 season. (WTOL)

- Foodology is a "recreational cooking school" in Toledo that offers classes for everyone from novice to expert. Owner Andi Lawrence also serves as the culinary arts instructor at Clay High School. (WTVG)
- Fremont Police Chief Derek Wensinger was given a five-day suspension and first-offense violation for "unsatisfactory service during his probationary period...failure of good behavior and insubordination." (WTOL)
- The Coalition for Peaceful Toledo Neighborhoods hosted a memorial service at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral on Wednesday to honor those killed by gun violence and their families. (WTVG)
