Happy Friday, people of Toledo! Here's everything you need to know about what's happening locally today.

Here are the top stories in Toledo today:

  1. Toledo city officials have announced the end of road repairs for the season later this month, marking the end of a prolific year. Residents report fixed potholes and newly paved thoroughfares to be among the benefits. (WTOL)
  2. 80-year-old Toledo woman Jane Bruss had been reported missing since Wednesday afternoon but was found safe Thursday afternoon. Bruss suffers from dementia and was located by the Toledo Police . (13abc Action News)
  3. Now that the Days Inn on Miami Street has been ordered closed by Toledo's housing court judge, several families have nowhere to live. The Toledo Lucas County Homelessness Board initially assessed the hotel and found that roughly 48 people were residing inside; 21 of them children. (13abc Action News)
  4. Toledo Mud Hens manager Tom Prince will not return for the 2022 season, despite leading the Hens to a first-place Midwest Division finish and a 74-56 record. Prince stated he received no explanation for the ouster from Detroit Tigers general manager Al Avila. (The Detroit News)
  5. US Marshals are looking for 32-year-old fugitive Alexander Strauss, who's been convicted of burglary. Strauss is also wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority, and the Defiance and Lucas County Sheriff's Offices. (WTOL)
