Here are the top stories in Toledo today:
- The Cherry Street Mission is seeing a 400% increase in people seeking assistance since May. The Mission is facing difficulties after the end of the eviction moratorium and staff and volunteer shortages. (WTOL)
- Toledo Police are investigating two overnight shootings. One shooting occurred at #BoxLyfe Southside Bar on Western Avenue and another was reported at Carriage Way mobile home park on Telegraph Road. (WNWO NBC 24)
- A car crashed into a South Toledo home on Saturday morning. The incident occurred at South Avenue and Daniels. (13 ABC)
- The Toledo Police Department arrested a Michigan man wanted in the murder of woman and the assault of two children. Jacob Ryan, of Rockford, Mich., was taken off a Greyhound bus by authorities in Toledo. (13 ABC)
- Toledo Police responded to a trailer in the 2500 block on Consaul Street around 3:55 a.m. A 19-year-old woman was found shot to death in East Toledo and another 19-year-old woman was charged with the murder. (WNWO NBC 24)
