Happy Saturday, Toledo! Here's everything you need to know to start today off on an informed note. Here's everything going on in town today.

Here are the top stories today in Toledo:
- An informational meeting in Sylvania about YMCA and community center expansion became heated when a verbal altercation broke out during discussions concerning an upcoming levy. Residents will be asked to approve a $2.56 million capital improvement levy for the Sylvania Multigenerational Community Center proposed for Cobblestone Woods Business Park. (13 ABC)
- Toledo Police responded to an animal complaint and medical run call at a house on Oak Street in East Toledo Wednesday afternoon. Officers found two blood-covered dogs fighting in the home and a man suffering from a seizure. One dog was shot but is expected to survive. (13 ABC)
- Imagine Station in Downtown Toledo is debuting a traveling version of one of its most popular attractions. The program is called Toledo Tinkers: Through a Child's Eyes and will be a mobile tinkering lab meant to help 11-13 year-olds learn about STEM education. (Toledo.com)
- The Lucas County Canine Care and Control shelter is offering reduced adoption fees in exchange for Halloween candy now through October 23. The fee includes having the dog spayed or neutered, initial vaccinations, a registered microchip, heartworm testing and prevention and parasite treatment. (NBC 24)
- Toledo Police are investigating two shootings involving teenagers that occurred Thursday night. Police were first called to Toledo Hospital for a 15-year-old gunshot victim who was uncooperative. Later in the evening, police were called to St. Vincent's hospital concerning a 17-year-old gunshot victim. (WTOL 11)

- Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has introduced two new business loan programs aimed at assisting businesses owned by women and underrepresented persons. The programs, called the Women's Business Enterprise Loan Program and the Ohio Micro-Enterprise Loan Program, are included in the 2022-2023 operating budget passed last June by the Ohio General Assembly. - A Toledo man has died after being struck by a vehicle on W. Sylvania Avenue Thursday evening. (13 ABC)
