- This Election Day, former TPS Board Member and current State House Rep Lisa Sobecki and Sylvania Township Trustee John Jennewine are running for Lucas County Commissioner. Both individuals highlight their plans for a new jail. (WTOL)
- Mitchell Miller, from Sylvania, has signed with the Boston Bruins after he was originally drafted by the Arizona Coyotes NHL team in 2020. The Coyotes dropped Miller from the team after some controversial behavior in his past came to light. (WTOL)
- The Mobile Gas Station on North Detroit and Central Avenue has been closed after a Judge granted the City of Toledo a temporary restraining order for 10 days. The action came after the station has been host to several shootings and drug trafficking arrests. (WTVG)
- Toledo woman Sharonda Tuggle was convicted of stabbing and killing her boyfriend, Lawrence Stuart, on April 23. Tuggle will face sentencing on November 21. (WTVG)
- Universities across Northwest Ohio participated in a summit to address the teacher shortage on Friday. Experts point out that entire communities suffer when schools close and the workforce isn't populated. (WNWO)
