First, today's weather:

Here are the top stories today in Toledo:
- Throughout Ohio, the National Guard has been deployed to hospitals suffering from staffing issues and an overwhelming amount of COVID patients. However, according to the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, no guard members have yet been deployed to Northwest Ohio. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is in contact with officials at ProMedica to assess the potential need for extra help. (WTOL)
- Toledo Firefighter Jamie Morelock has returned from a search & rescue mission in Kentucky that began after the area was hit by devastating tornadoes. Morelock spent five days working in Kentucky and called the mission a success as everyone missing was accounted for as either alive or dead. (13abc Action News)
- The Craig Street Bridge, just northeast of downtown Toledo, has been closed due to an apparent electrical issue. According to the Ohio Dept. of Transportation, a contractor will be bringing someone to address the situation shortly. The bridge has been closed several times since October for similar issues. (WTOL)
- A new drive-thru event is being hosted by the Glass City Metropark on Front Street in Toledo. The event is called "Snowplace Like Metroparks" and features 120 snowmen crafts designed by local volunteers like scouts, schools, clubs and individual families. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Multiple crashes caused traffic delays on Toledo highways Monday. A semi-truck crash and scattered debris closed northbound I-75 near North Detroit Avenue just before 4:30 PM. Debris also caused a backup on southbound I-475 just before the Ohio Turnpike, though both lanes reopened once cleaning crews responded to the issue. (13abc Action News)

- Rising COVID-19 concerns have not impacted attendance at this year's Winterfest held at Fifth Third Field. The Toledo Walleye will host the Kalamazoo Wings Sunday on the custom outdoor rink. (13abc Action News)
- Lucas County first responders took local kids out holiday shopping at this year's "Shop With a Hero" event. Featuring members of police, fire, EMS, and the military; the event was a rousing success by all accounts. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Too wild to tame: Toledo Whitmer girls basketball topples Toledo Notre Dame 59-41. The teams last played on January 30, 2020 when the Whitmer Panthers also won 57-26. (Richland Source)
