  • After responding to a crash on Route 24 in Waterville, an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was injured after another car struck their vehicle around 8:30 AM Friday.
  • The new Night Owl Diner, opening November 22 on W. Sylvania Avenue, will serve non-traditional hours from 6 PM - 4 AM
  • Owens Corning Foundation has awarded the Toledo Museum of Art $500,000 in support of its 'Art Out of School' program

  1. After responding to a crash on Route 24 in Waterville, an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was injured after another car struck their vehicle around 8:30 AM Friday. U.S. 24 was backed up significantly after several crashes occurred between Dutch and Waterville-Swanton Roads. (WTOL)
  2. The new Night Owl Diner, opening November 22 on W. Sylvania Avenue, will serve non-traditional hours from 6 PM - 4 AM. The restaurant will cater to those working late shifts such as Jeep staff and medical providers. (WTOL)
  3. TPD Officer and Wellness Unit Supervisor Sgt. Erik Welling was honored at the ProMedica tree lighting ceremony at Promenade Park Friday evening. Sgt. Welling was one of six local frontline heroes honored at the celebration. (WTVG)
  4. The Wood County Health Department is offering free at-home COVID tests in anticipation of the holidays. The tests can be picked up from several local sites, including the health department, local senior centers, and libraries throughout Wood County. (WTVG)
  5. Owens Corning Foundation has awarded the Toledo Museum of Art $500,000 in support of its 'Art Out of School' program. The program allows for free artmaking opportunities in the Toledo community. (La Prensa)

  • 52-year-old local war veteran Leonard Tate was given an 'honor walk' at St. Vincent Medical Center Wednesday as an organ donor. Mr. Tate's family is proud of his multiple sacrifices, including three tours in Guam, Afghanistan, and Kuwait, and his donation includes skin grafts to fire victims in Ukraine. (WTVG)
  • The Water Boil Advisory in Toledo was lifted early after all EPA-required testing was completed and the water found to be safe for consumption. (WTOL)
  • Indoor climbing is coming to Toledo thanks to a new business by Adventus Climbing, who will open a 12,000 square foot facility on N. Reynolds Road in June. (WNWO)
  • UToledo's Business Incubator program hosted a "pitch and pour" Thursday night to award local entrepreneurs "financial resources for growth, networking and advising." (WNWO)
