- Toledo Fire & Rescue responded to a car crash Thursday that resulted in the death of 31-year-old James Allen Young II.
- The Perrysburg Police Division is investigating stolen checks and encouraging affected residents to file police reports.
- The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double homicide after Bruce Williams and his wife Celecitas Pelegrino Willliams were found dead in a Latty Township home in the 6000 block of Road 123.

- Toledo Fire & Rescue responded to a car crash Thursday that resulted in the death of 31-year-old James Allen Young II. The crash occurred at Reynolds Road and Dorr Street after midnight after the victim was traveling at high speeds before striking a utility pole while approaching Dorr Street. (WTOL)
- Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz addressed the 2023 city budget on "Wednesdays with Wade" at the Downtown Toledo Public Library. Mayor Kapszukiewicz stated the city will expand the police force, fix 1,200 sidewalks and demolish 1,000 blighted buildings. (WTOL)
- The Spaghetti Warehouse in Downtown Toledo is back open after being locked out for four days last week in what was dubbed "a surprising landlord lock out." Since then, the restaurant reports 1000 canceled reservations and a guest decrease of over 50%. (WTVG)
- The Perrysburg Police Division is investigating stolen checks and encouraging affected residents to file police reports. Advice for prevention includes minding one's surroundings while holiday shopping and keeping an eye on suspicious activity around mailboxes. (WTVG)
- The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double homicide after Bruce Williams and his wife Celecitas Pelegrino Willliams were found dead in a Latty Township home in the 6000 block of Road 123. Officers conducted a wellness check after Celecitas' coworkers reported concerns and later learned 23-year-old Clay Dockery of Paulding was caught in a stolen vehicle owned by the Williams in Ashtabula County. - Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz reported the Bay View Wastewater Treatment Plant will require massive overhauls expected to cost $5 million. (WTVG)
- June Van Dyke, 90, has signed up as a Salvation Army 'bell ringer' for this year's giving season. Van Dyke credits the families and children who need help during the holidays as motivation for her service. (WTVG)
- Perrysburg's Spotlight Gala Dinner Theatre will host a production of "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" December 17 at the Commodore Building. Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward student-actors to assist with theatre education, including a workshop in Cleveland this spring. (WTOL)
- Pathway Toledo is offering assistance for heating and electrical as we enter the winter months. The 'winter crisis program' provides funding and after the state helped 17,000 households in November. (WNWO)
