Good morning, Toledo! Let's get you all caught up to start this day off on an informed note. Here's everything you need to know about what's happening in Toledo today.

Here are the top stories in Toledo today:

  1. Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz has announced details surrounding the 2022 budget for Toledo. The proposal was submitted to Toledo City Council on Monday and focuses on adding police and firefighters, investing in youth programs, and road improvements. (13abc Action News)
  2. Toledo Police responded to a car that crashed into the side of the Cherry Street Mission early Monday morning. A woman was taken to the hospital for injuries and witnesses saw police place a man in handcuffs. The crash resulted in a brief closing of 17th and Monroe Streets. (13abc Action News)
  3. An early Monday morning fire has damaged multiple homes in Central Toledo in the 1600 block of Hamilton Street. Toledo Fire & Rescue crews responded around 12:30 AM after the fire began in a vacant home but spread to those around it. There were no reported injuries and a cause has yet to be determined. (WTOL)
  4. 19-year-old Toledoan Javonti McCray was shot and killed in the Canyon Cove Villas and Townhomes in South Toledo Sunday evening. Toledo Police responded to the scene and investigations are ongoing. There were reports of a silver Mercury Milan that may have been involved. (WTOL)
  5. The Manor House at Wildwood Metropark is undergoing its yearly transformation as volunteers decorate each room with a holiday theme. Celebrating its 45th year, the Manor House will be available to tour from December 4-12 with masks required. (WNWO NBC 24)
