Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:

  1. Frederick Marsh Jr. was shot in the face by a toddler residing in his home early Monday morning just after midnight in West Toledo. Marsh and his girlfriend drove to Toledo Fire & Rescue Station 11 to seek help after the shooting and Toledo Police are investigating. (WTOL)
  2. Saint Francis De Sales High School student Marvelous Walton, 17, was shot and killed Saturday while sitting in a vehicle at the corner of Lockwood and Berdan around 2 p.m. Another 17-year-old was shot while sitting in the car but was transported to the hospital in critical condition. (WTVG)
  3. Shawnte Hardin is scheduled for trial Monday in the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas in front of Judge Michael Goulding. Hardin is accused of running an illegitimate funeral home business, including allegations of keeping cremated remains inside an Akron church illegally. (WTOL)
  4. Two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old have been arrested for allegedly robbing a 13-year-old at gunpoint in the 1200 block of Halstead around 1 p.m. Sunday. Toledo Police arrested the youths, who are facing aggravated robbery charges,. The police also recovered the guns used in the crime. (WTVG)
  5. Three juveniles, aged 8, 11, and 13, were apprehended attempting to break into a business in the 1000 block of South Telegraph Friday night around 8:40 p.m. Two of the youths were caught attempting to steal dirt bikes while the third attempted to flee in a car stolen from Toledo.
