Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- 39-year-old Zachary Ryan Balusik, a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital, has been arrested on child pornography charges. Balusik was apprehended through an effort by the Cleveland Division of the FBI and the Northwest Ohio Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Force. (13abc Action News)
- Today is the last day the vaccine site at the Lucas County Rec Center will be open. Citing a decrease in demand, the vaccines will still be offered at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department downtown. (13abc Action News)
- Toledo City Congresswoman Katie Moline led an initiative to get bullet proof vests for Toledo Fire & Rescue crews when they provide aid in dangerous situations. An incident on July 4, 2021 involving a shooting in which 12 people were shot and one was killed inspired the measure. (WTOL)
- Toledo Public Schools are introducing a mobile health service to ensure kids start their day the right way. The service was funded by a generous donation from the Landman-Goldman Foundation and will provide dental care to all grade levels. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Hometown United States Representative Marcy Kaptur is co-chair of the bipartisan congressional Ukraine caucus and has spoken out against the war unfolding in Europe after the attack from Russia this week. Representative Kaptur is in contact with the Biden administration and warns that Russian president Putin is undermining Ukraine's progress to becoming a more modern country. (WNWO NBC 24)

- Delivery issues have resulted in transport through OhioLINK ending on March 11 and lasting through early May. The change affects the University of Toledo libraries and other college, university, and public libraries in Ohio. (Press Release Desk)
- The UToledo women's soccer team is holding its annual Rocket Soccer Summer Camp June 6-10 and 13-17 at Paul Hotmer Field. The camp serves as a way for young players to learn from the Division I student-athletes and coaches. (Press Release Desk)
- The One Village Counsel held a quality of life meeting to address gun violence and other issues for the residents of the Lagrange neighborhood. Toledo Commissioner of Small Businesses Sandy Spang and officials from the City of Toledo and the Toledo Police were in attendance. (13abc Action News)
- The University of Toledo hosted seventh and eighth grade girls for its fifth annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.
