Happy Wednesday, people of Toledo! Let's get you all caught up on what's happening locally to start today off on an informed note.

Here are the top stories in Toledo today:
- The Toledo Hemp Center and Buckeyes and Beyond are replacing 72 backpacks that were stolen from the annual Community Cookout held August 14, 2021. Buckeyes and Beyond purchased the replacement backpacks, which are filled with school supplies, just in time for the new school year. (WTOL)
- Two local gas stations were robbed early Tuesday morning. The Speedway on Conant Street in Maumee was robbed at gunpoint around 3 A.M., and the Shell gas station in Rossford on Buck Road was also robbed. Police are investigating whether the robberies are related. (WTOL)
- Pathway Toledo is partnering with the city to administer emergency funds from the Toledo Lucas County Emergency Rental Assistance Program in light of the eviction moratorium having been lifted. The program is helping residents get caught up on their finances if they meet the qualifications. (13abc Action News)
- Three Toledo Fire & Rescue vehicles have been hit by civilian motorists who failed to yield since June of this year. The latest crash occurred at 4 A.M. on Sunday at Fearing Boulevard and Hill Avenue. Though no rescue workers were injured, these crashes put emergency vehicles out of commission and drain the fire department's general budget. (WTOL)
- Toledo Olympian Oshae Jones was presented the key to the city by Mayor Kapszukiewicz at a ceremony on Monday morning at One Government Center. Jones lost her home to a fire this year and several fundraisers have been started to help with those costs. A parade in her honor is scheduled at Savage Park this Saturday from 2:30-6:30 P.M.
