Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- 29-year-old Dalano Lumpkin was killed in a motorcycle crash late Saturday night in the 5200 block of Lewis Avenue between Waybridge and Mayfair. Toledo Police report Lumpkin was killed when a southbound driver, 19-year-old Maricella Morales, failed to yield and turned left in front of him causing the collision. (WTOL)
- The Ohio State Highway Patrol notified the Toledo Police on Saturday of a threatening social media post that referenced a school shooting. Police contacted the mother of the person responsible for the post, who did not know his whereabouts. Toledo Christian Schools also notified authorities of an apparent social media threat, though the suspect denied making the post. (WTOL)
- 25-year-old Keli Redway is facing felonious assault charges after she stabbed a man she was living with several times in the 600 block of Dearborn just before 3 AM Sunday morning. The victim, 33-year-old Everardo Aladana, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (WTVG)
- Seven people, including four youths, were hospitalized after fentanyl was released into the air vents at Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention, Training, and Rehabilitation Center in Stryker, Ohio. Williams County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Jeff Lehman reported everyone exposed was expected to survive the ordeal. (Patch)
- Toledo Police are investigating the deaths of 87-year-old Early Bennett and 85-year-old Laura Bennett as a possible murder-suicide on Friday night at a home on Pinelawn. An autopsy is scheduled for today at the Lucas County Coroner's Office. (WTVG)

- Jalane Moti Jaleta moved from Ethiopa to enroll at the University of Toledo College of Engineering in 2018. Set to graduate this year, she will be joined by her twin brothers Robera and Roba in the same college and credits the UToledo Center For International Studies and Programs for welcoming her to the school. - UToledo's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is hosting the 4th Annual Womxn of Color Symposium on March 25. The event will be held in-person and is a professional development opportunity designed to expand skills, increase knowledge, and enhance networks to promote a more inclusive and supportive environment at the school.
