  1. T-Pain will play a free concert to celebrate the University of Toledo Founder's Day celebration on Wednesday at Savage Arena. The sesquicentennial celebration will feature free barbecue and free parking from 2 PM Wednesday through 7 AM Thursday. (UToledo)
  2. Toledo City Council voted to approve $150,000 to install security cameras in 15 city parks. The move comes after three years of nearly 100 calls for police assistance in the parks. (WTOL)
  3. The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department will receive over $90,000 by the Ohio Department of Transportation for traffic safety measures. The efforts will address seat belt safety, impaired and distracted driving, and collaborations with local law enforcement. (WTVG)
  4. McLaren St. Luke's has settled its lawsuit against ProMedica involving its health insurance division Paramount. The Paramount Medicare Advantage health plan will now be 'in-network' at McLaren St. Luke's hospital and WellCare Physicians Group.(WTVG)
  5. Lake High School football coach and assistant principal Josh Andrews resigned from his positions October 5 after being placed on leave in September for "improper communications." The Flannery/Georgalis firm was hired by the board of education and found that Andrews "did engage in a pattern of inappropriate communications involving alumni of the district." (WTOL)
