- Donald Hogan,15, was shot and killed in the 500 block of Shasta Drive Friday afternoon. Toledo Police responded to the scene and the victim was transported to UTMC where he succumbed to his injuries. (WTOL)
- Toledoan Tiffany Lawrence was charged $500 to recover her stolen vehicle at the Toledo Police impound lot. After Lawrence's car was recovered at a nearby apartment building, she was told it could not be returned until it was dusted for prints and had to be towed. (WTVG)
- Toledo will host the first USA Boxing Women's Championships at the Glass City Center July 22-29. Toledo is home to bronze medalist Oshae Jones, who represented Team USA in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. (WTVG)
- The Glass City Metropark's "icy loop trail" will be open for a limited time through February 20. The ribbon portion is 1,000 feet long and the circular rink is 5,000 square feet and reservations can be made online. (WNWO)
- Sylvania-based music producer Jameil Aossey won the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for his work on Beyonce's Renaissance album. Aossey, who has worked with Eminem, X-Ambassadords, and the Pussycat Dolls, humbly states "it's a big win for Toledo." (WTOL)
