First, today's weather: Humid and partly cloudy throughout the day. High: 87 Low: 73.


Here are the top stories today in Toledo:

  1. Rescue divers have been searching for a man in the Maumee River near downtown Toledo. Toledo Fire and Rescue have thus far been unable to find the man and efforts are ongoing. (13abc Action News)
  2. Maumee water bills are expected to go up 40% next month. The price increase is a side effect of a significant overhaul of the city's water treatment system, which had previously allowed for millions of gallons of sewage to be dumped into the Maumee River. (13abc Action News)
  3. Local Toledo Business Dar Vida helps aid humanitarian projects in Colombia, including drug rehab facilities and homes for the elderly. Efforts include selling coffee from female coffee farmers in Colombia and then sending the profits back to those in need. (Toledo City Paper)
  4. Former Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner is considering another mayoral run. Finkbeiner served as Toledo's mayor for two terms beginning in 1993 and a third term in 2005. (WTOL)
  5. Robbery suspects lead Toledo Police on a chase in East Toledo. Police responded to a robbery at Bambino's Pizza on Airport Hwy which resulted in a car chase. The suspects were apprehended when they eventually fled on foot. (13abc Action News)
