- Toledo native Albert Prince Bell will be fighting for the World Boxing Organization-NABO Super Featherweight Title this Saturday at the Huntington Center
- Andres Pecina III was arrested on a domestic violence warrant from last Saturday when it was discovered he killed 43-year-old Erica Cole on Monday
- The murderer of Corey Coley Jr. has been arrested and is awaiting a court appearance in the Lucas County Jail
- Imagination Station was awarded an Ohio EPA grant allowing it to purchase a glass bottle crusher that turns glass bottles into sand for other purposes

- Toledo Public Schools graduate and contender for the World Boxing Organization-NABO Super Featherweight Title Albert Prince Bell will fight for the championship at the Huntington Center Saturday. Bell trained at Central City Boxing at Savage Park and threw out the first pitch at a recent Mud Hens game. (WTVG)
- Andres Pecina III, 39, has been arrested on murder charges for killing 43-year-old Erica Cole in the 1500 block of Navarre around 4:30 PM Monday. Toledo Police initially responded to the scene for a suicide call but Pecina was arrested on a domestic violence warrant he received after previously punching the victim in the face and stomping on her head on Saturday. - UPDATE: Chris Berry, 19, has been charged for the murder of Corey Coley Jr. at the Weiler Homes in East Toledo on August 26. Berry is being held at the Lucas County Jail and faces arraignment Thursday morning. (WTOL)
- The Imagination Station was awarded the 2022 Ohio EPA's Recycling and Litter Prevention 'Recycle Ohio Grant' and has purchased a glass bottle crusher that grinds glass into sand. The sand can be used for other purposes and follows Imagination Station's efforts to reduce its energy consumption through innovation and education. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Averyana Monroe had been in remission for leukemia that took the life of her twin sister when they were both three years old. Now, the Emmanuel Christian student was able to spend a week at the Give Kids the World Village in Orlando thanks to the non-profit Campaign One At A Time and the Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation. - Betty Shiffler, 56, has died at Hospice of Northwest Ohio after suffering blunt force injuries to her head on August 12. Shiffler's death has been ruled a homicide, though the details of the crime have not been released. (WTVG)
- A 42-year-old victim was shot at while working on a car on Burbank Drive around 10:56 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect shot at a group of friends working in the garage of a residence and the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. (WTOL)
- The City of Toledo Department of Public Utilities will allow for in-person customer service beginning today at the offices on 410 Madison Ave. (WTVG)
- U.S. Census results show Toledo ranks in top 20 most financially stressed U.S. cities, coming in at number 19 out of the 150 largest cities in America. (WTOL)
- Senior Discovery Days at the Toledo Zoo welcome those '60 and better.' (WTOL)
