- 12-0 Toledo heavyweight boxer Jared "The Real Big Baby" Anderson will fight his next round at Madison Square Garden on December 10.
- Ohio Rep Marcy Kaptur announced a $750,000 grant for Toledo Public Schools to receive 25 low-emission school buses.
- A man accused of killing his mother pleads not guilty by reason of insanity.

- Jared "The Real Big Baby" Anderson, an undefeated heavyweight boxer from Toledo, will fight Jerry "Slugger" Forest on December 10 at Madison Square Garden. It will be shown on ESPN. Anderson turned professional in 2019 and has a 12-0 record with 12 knockouts. (WTOL)
- Ohio Rep Marcy Kaptur announced $750,000 to provide Toledo Public Schools with 25 low-emission school buses thanks to funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is responsible for the creation of the funding through the Clean School Bus Rebate Program. (WTVG)
- Congressman and Senate Candidate Tim Ryan and CWA Local 4319 President and Ohio House Dist. 42 Candidate Erika White attended the "What's the Issue? Worker's Rights" panel on October 26 at UAW Local 14 on Jackman Road. (WTVG)
- The Coalition for Peaceful Toledo Neighborhoods held a meeting Monday at Epworth United Methodist Church on Central Avenue to address gun violence in Toledo. The event was attended by former Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner and other community officials and religious leaders. (WNWO)
- Toledo man Travis Lewton, who made headlines for killing his mother and setting her body on fire on October 1, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in the Lucas County Common Pleas Court Tuesday. Lewton is charged with aggravated murder and abuse of a corpse and is held on a $1 million bond. (WTOL)

- Toledo Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed the Arlington Avenue Stop & Go on Tuesday night around 10:30 PM. (WTOL)
- Lucas County will host a national conference addressing mental illness treatment in incarcerated populations on October 25 and 26. The conference will be in Downtown Toledo and feature "over 20 elected, judicial and healthcare leaders from 12 jurisdictions across the country." (WTVG)
- Mental health agency, the Family Resource Center in Findlay, is able to provide care for those in need, including transportation for people who don't live in Findlay, thanks a grant received in 2020. (WNWO)
- Leaf collection for the city of Toledo will begin November 7 and end December 31. (WTOL)
- Local woman Jenna Lee is spreading a message of domestic violence awareness after she was reportedly hospitalized after being assaulted by Montrice Hughes, who was arrested on October 26 and held on a $75,000 bond. (WTOL)
