- Final preparations, including jury selection, are underway for the U.S. Department of Justice case against Toledo City Council members Gary Johnson, Yvonne Harper, Larry Sykes and Tyrone Riley.
- Toledo City Council voted 10-2 Tuesday to send a proposal for road funding income tax dollars to be used on office space back to city administration.
- The State of Ohio has awarded Toledo a $10 million grant to demolish blighted buildings throughout the city.

- Final preparations, including jury selection, are underway for the U.S. Department of Justice case against Toledo City Council members Gary Johnson, Yvonne Harper, Larry Sykes and Tyrone Riley. Judge Jeffrey Helmick of the Toledo Federal Courthouse will oversee the proceedings after hosting a pretrial conference Tuesday. (WTOL)
- Toledo City Council voted 10-2 Tuesday to send a proposal for road funding income tax dollars to be used on office space back to city administration. Funding was originally to be used for city engineers who design the roads but raised questions of transparency as a tax measure. (WTVG)
- Local Reverend Charlie Ross of New Prospect Baptist Church has been convicted after facing initial charges of domestic violence and aggravated menacing against his wife. Reverend Ross was accused of pulling a firearm in the situation and was sentenced to 9 months probation and a batterer's intervention program. (WTVG)
- This season, case workers at Lucas County Children Services are making sure children they work with have gifts for Christmas. Toys can be donated for the LCCS Toy Room for the roughly 1,000 children served. (WTOL)
- The State of Ohio has awarded Toledo a $10 million grant to demolish blighted buildings throughout the city. Officials say neighborhoods will benefit from the removal of empty houses and apartment buildings. (WNWO)

- Adrian McCaster, 42, died of multiple gunshot wounds in a West Toledo home in the 800 block of Underwood Avenue around 7 PM Monday. (WTOL)
- On Tuesday, Lucas County made plans to move its facilities building to open a potential space for the new jail. The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department site is reportedly still in consideration as well. (WTVG)
- Nature's Nursery is using funds from Giving Tuesday to relocate to a new building in Waterville on 5 acres of land. 90% of the 1.5 million dollar project has already been reached. (WTOL)
