🌱 Toledo Dad Sentenced For Deaths + Bodies Found In Spencer Twp.

Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:
- Jacob Cisneros has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for the deaths of his two infant children on charges of involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of justice after the children's bodies were found in two separate vehicles, one registered to him. Cisneros' wife Jenna Cisneros was previously sentenced to 25 years in prison. (WTOL)
- Two bodies were found by the Lucas County Sheriff's Department after responding to a house fire in the 1700 block of Berkey Road in Spencer Township on Thursday. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may not have been the cause of the deaths. (WTOL)
- The Toledo Police Department and the U.S. Marshals are offering rewards for information leading to an arrest in the murder of 10-year-old Damia Ezell that occurred Saturday. Both groups are offering separate $5,000 rewards, with the TPD accepting anonymous tips via text message as well. (13abc Action News)
- University of Toledo alum Ryan Drost has created a comic book series called "Stealth Hammer" inspired by his wife Jami. Mr. Drost first ventured into podcasting, which eventually connected him with the artist responsible for Stealth Hammer's signature style. A Kickstarter was created to help get the project off the ground. (Toledo City Paper)
- UToledo professor of medicine and infectious disease specialist Dr. Joan Duggan has been announced as a member of the YWCA's Class of 2022 Milestones Honorees. The 27th annual Tribute to Women Awards will be held virtually Thursday, March 24 as part of Women's History Month. (Press Release Desk)

- Dr. Melissa Gregory has been named interim dean of the College of Arts and Letters at UToledo. Dr. Gregory is a senior associate dean and professor of English and follows in the footsteps of Dr. Charlene Gilbert. (Press Release Desk)
- Honoring the memory of a groundbreaking UToledo professor: Dr. Lancelot C.A. Thompson was the first African American full-time faculty member at the school in 1958. Dr. Thompson started his UToledo career as a chemistry professor before becoming vice president for student affairs. The Lancelot Thompson Student Union is named in his honor. (Press Release Desk)
- February 20 will see the return of the JCPenney Rocket Suit-Up Event sponsored by JCPenney and the UToledo Career Services department.
