Here are the top stories in Toledo today:

  1. A man originally from Toledo has been arrested in the shooting death of a 25-year-old Lima resident. The incident remains under investigation. (13abc Action News)
  2. A 29-year-old man was shot in West Toledo Sunday evening. The shooting took place in a house on Berkley near Berdan Avenue around 9 pm. (WTOL)
  3. With COVID trends continuing to climb in Wood and Lucas County, local health officials and doctors have expressed concerns for maintaining safety. Some have expressed the recent hospitalizations and deaths could be preventable since the vaccine is so readily available. (WTOL)
  4. The Solheim Cup has brought thousands to Toledo from all over the country. A premier event for the LPGA, many in the city hope the exposure will help Toledo host similar events in the future. (13 ABC)
  5. Four Lucas County residents have been charged with crimes related to their roles in the breach of the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021. Two groups of two people were arrested and charged with violating sections 18 and 40 of the United States Code. (WNWO NBC 24)
