Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- The Toledo Humane Society is hosting an open house at its new state-of-the-art veterinary clinic at 835 E. Broadway Street from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. today. The clinic offers affordable pet care and today's event features food trucks, free pet food, KONG toys, treats and litter scoops. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Steven Warrer was indicted on public indecency charges Thursday for reportedly exposing himself in the Spring Meadows shopping center parking lot July 24. Law enforcement say they found Warrer in his vehicle wearing only underwear after reports came in that he was exposing and touching himself in front of young women. (WTVG)
- The city of Toledo is hosting a gun buyback event at the Frederick Douglass Center Saturday, September 10. Guns can be exchanged for hundreds of dollars worth of BP gas cards. No ID is required. (WTOL)
- After an 8-year hiatus, Arnie's neighborhood bar is returning to Toledo. Arnie's is located at 2637 W. Bancroft St. and will have 24 drafts taps. (Toledo City Paper)
- Toledo Public Schools will add two new health clinics to Start High School and Bowsher High School. The Health Partners clinics at TPS schools have served thousands of families since 2009.
