- Text messages between several Ohio mayors reveal some colorful language used by Toledo's Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz. In the thread, Mayor Kapszukiewicz laments the lack of funds Toledo receives from state capital Columbus, saying he wished Toledo lost the war of 1836 and was instead a part of Michigan, and also criticizes Ohio State Rep. Rob Portman. (WTVG)
- The former Mott Branch Library on Dorr Street will be the new site for Compassion Health Toledo. Residents will be able to get access to medical care such as OB-GYN services, cardiology, education, and other basic health services. (WTVG)
- A vacant home on on Blum Street near Junction Avenue has been set on fire for the second time in the last few months. Toledo Fire & Rescue responded to the blaze and found several points of origin. (WTOL)
- The Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport is accepting community recommendations for flight destinations. The airport currently hosts direct flights to Fort Myers, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix, and Chicago. Requests can be made online here. (WTOL)
- A vigil to honor the four women killed in domestic violence situations in Toledo was held on Tuesday night. Candles were lit and a moment of silence was held for victims Whitney Wade, Sarah Schulte, Ashley Darrington, and Nora Pryba. (WNWO NBC 24)
