🌱 Toledo Teens Indicted For Shooting + Imagination Station Ball Drop

Hello all. It's me, Brad King, your host of the Toledo Daily — here to tell you everything you need to know about what's happening in town. In this issue, you'll find:

  • Toledo teens Keith Hobbs, Kaveon Jones and Lupe Hernandez III were indicted for "shooting up a casket" at a funeral in 2021.
  • Robert Hamman of Shiloh was arrested after he initially went missing following his father's homicide on Christmas Eve.
  • Beginning Friday, the Wood County Sheriff's Office will increase its police presence through New Year's Eve weekend.

  1. Toledo teens Keith Hobbs, Kaveon Jones and Lupe Hernandez III were indicted for "shooting up a casket" at a funeral in 2021. The shooting occurred at the River of Life Church on Upton during Lawrenczel Larell Taylor III's funeral. (WTVG)
  2. Robert Hamman of Shiloh was arrested after he initially went missing following his father's homicide on Christmas Eve. Hamman has been charged with a probation violation and is accused of abandoning the victim's vehicle in Wyandot County the night of the murder. (WTVG)
  3. D3 Automotive was destroyed in a Thursday morning fire in Pettisville. German Township-Archbold fire crews responded to the scene around 1 AM and no injuries were reported. (WNWO)
  4. Beginning today, the Wood County Sheriff's Office will increase its police presence through New Year's Eve weekend. The measure aims to look for impaired driving through Monday. (WNWO)
  5. Kaline Hoppe, 18, of Monroe has graduated from basic training for the Marines despite suffering broken hips and pelvis. (WTOL)

  • The Ohio Attorney General's Office has released an opinion regarding the Toledo City Council seats occupied by Vanice Williams and John Hobbs III. Williams and Hobbs originally took over for Tyrone Riley and Yvonne Harper after they were suspended and charged with bribery and extortion. (WTVG)
  • ProMedica and Cigna have reached an agreement regarding in-network coverage for patients. (WTVG)
