- The FLOC (Farm Labor Organizing Committee) Homies Union is offering opportunities for propelling Toledo's youth to better develop themselves as professionals. The program is geared toward 14-24 year-olds looking for early career opportunities. (WTOL)
- The Toledo Police have investigated a bomb threat found in a restroom at the Toledo South Assembly Plant. The plant continued to operate during the investigation and nothing suspicious was found. (13abc Action News)
- As the city appears to be on course to break its homicide record for the second year in a row, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz says violence solutions could take a while. In addition to bolstering the police, some ideas also call for more youth employment opportunities and recreation programs. (13abc Action News)
- A new program called Math Moves has opened at Toledo's Imagination Station. The exhibit is designed to stimulate participants' minds, bodies, and imaginations. (WTOL)
- The Port of Toledo is having a solid 2021 season. Officials report that business is up 25% from this time last year, due in part to its diverse shipments coming in and out of the port. (13abc Action News)
