- A 15-year-old male was arrested by Toledo Police for the murder of 15-year-old DeAsia Green. The suspect has "entered a denial to all charges" and is awaiting further proceedings in the Juvenile Detention Center. (WTVG)
- Toledo Police responded to a shooting involving a juvenile male victim at the corner of Sherman and Kent St. Monday around 3:30 PM. Three masked suspects reportedly fled on foot and "multiple cars and houses in the area were hit by gunfire." (WTVG)
- Last week artist Gabe Gault finished a mural celebrating Toledo's diversity at the Ottawa Hills Junior/Senior High School. Gault also worked on the Glass City River Wall and "hopes this artwork can inspire future students to find their own unique journey." (WNWO NBC 24)
- The Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day helping with upgrades at the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, including installing new cabinets, painting, and cleaning. 55 volunteers helped plant herb gardens, work on bookshelves, and generally embodied "the spirit of giving." - The Bray family of East Toledo was reunited with their dog Kaia after she went missing in October. A local animal rescue helped Kaia return home three days before Christmas and a GoFundMe has been set up for a broken paw she suffered. (WTOL)

- The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 48-year-old Monroe County Jail inmate who reportedly hanged himself Sunday around 11:49 AM. An autopsy will be performed by the Lucas County Coroner. (WNWO)
- Northwest Ohio teacher and photographer Claire Wallace took a video of two river otters at Providence Metropark in January that has since reached 100,000 views. (WTOL)
- Gunfire at the intersection of N. Detroit Ave. and Buckingham Street resulted in gunshots to a home and vehicle around 6:30 PM Saturday. (WTOL)
