1. Body cam footage showing Toledo Police fatally shoot 47-year-old Jason Means, who was armed with a shotgun, was released Friday afternoon. TPD initially responded to the scene Wednesday after Means' girlfriend Nicole Rahmel called to report gunfire and reportedly informed officers that Means suffered from mental illness. (WNWO)
2. Uncle John's Pancake House is in danger of closing after 60 years because next-door Texas-based WhiteWater Express Car Wash made an offer in order to expand for more vacuum cleaners. Several community members have stated their dismay about the possibility, but the restaurant said employees would move to another location if it were to happen. (WTOL)
3. The Lucas County Clerk's Office is warning of a phone call scam regarding arrest warrants for area residents. An unknown person identifying themselves as the Lucas County Sheriff's Office, Common Pleas Court, or Clerk of Courts has reportedly been attempting to solicit money. (WTVG)
4. An undercover investigation involving Tiffin Police Detective Eric England has led to the arrest of 29-year-old Joseph Seamon of Churchill, Tennesse on child sex crimes. England was arrested January 13 for solicitation of a minor after an investigation that began in April 2022. (WTVG)
