Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:

  1. 36-year-old Jessus Lopez was shot to death in the 2100 block of North Michigan Street. Toledo Police are investigating after the home Lopez was in had been broken into. (WNWO NBC 24)
  2. 31-year-old Sharonda Tuggle was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing her boyfriend. The incident occurred Saturday around 8:44 AM in the 1100 block of Artis Place. (WTVG)
  3. The Ohio State Fire Marshall has classified an Oregon house fire as arson. The fire occurred around 3 AM last Thursday on Aldershot Lane. (WTOL)
  4. 41-year-old Shahnaz Ali is accused of stabbing a man in the buttocks as he used the urinal at Margaret's Suds and Grub. The suspect was apprehended shorty after the incident at an apartment in Maumee. (WTVG)
  5. Toledo man Deonte Moss is going viral for his humorous "Nosey Neighbor" videos on Tiktok. Moss is raising awareness for his book Pushed: (Pray Until Something Happens Everyday). (WTOL)

  • Toledo Police are investigating after a man was shot to death in the 2200 block of Lagrange Street Monday. The 911 call came in around 9 AM and one arrest was made for disorderly conduct not connected to the shooting. (WTOL)
