🌱 Tragic Whitmer HS Student's Death + University of Toledo Robbery

First, today's weather:

Thundershowers and rain throughout. High: 62 Low: 51.


Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:

  1. Clifford Gammer, 39, was found shot to death at his home in the 2200 block of North Erie Street on Sunday. Toledo Police are investigating but currently have no suspects. (WTVG)
  2. Neiko McIntyre, a 16-year-old Whitmer student , was shot to death in the 200 block of Orville Drive near North Detroit Avenue Saturday morning around 2:30 AM. Neiko is the third juvenile homicide in Toledo this year and no suspects have been arrested. (WTOL)
  3. The cause of a fire at the CARess Car Wash in the 1400 block of West Sylvania Avenue is suspected to be foul play according to Toledo Fire Battalion Chief David Rodriguez. A stolen car was found inside the car wash after crews put out the flames. (WTVG)
  4. Jayden Auger, 19, was arrested by University of Toledo police on Saturday morning for a robbery that occurred Thursday. Court records show Auger is accused of robbing a person of three grams of cannabis and a dab pen before forcing them to Cash App him $415. (WTOL)
  5. The National Museum of the Great Lakes is reopening the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and Museum Tug Ohio. Volunteers are needed to help the museums run over the summer. (Press Publications Inc.)
