- Notre Dame's football home opener is against the University of Toledo Rockets this Saturday, September 11. The Fighting Irish won in overtime for their first game 41-38 against Florida State. (WSBT-TV)
- An injured endangered Piping Plover bird was rescued by the Black Swamp Bird Observatory and treated at the Toledo Zoo. The bird is one of four chicks that were hatched at Maumee Bay State Park, the first successful breeding pair in Ohio in 80 years. (13abc Action News)
- The University of Toledo is selling the home it owns for housing the university president. The 5-bedroom home, located in Ottawa Hills, was listed for $975,000 and appears to have a contingent offer. (LimaOhio.com)
- The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department has announced several walk-in vaccine clinics for the week of Sep. 6 - Sep. 11. Health officials are placing greater emphasis on getting the vaccine because of the rise of the Delta variant. (WTOL)
- A Tuesday morning crash in Toledo has left two people hospitalized. The accident occurred in the Old West End around 1:30 AM at Bancroft Street and Scottwood Avenue. (13 ABC)
