🌱 Veteran Walks From Toledo To Ann Arbor + BG Schools Levy Fails

Hello all. I'm back with your fresh edition of the Toledo Daily, fresh off the presses. Here are all the most important things to know about what's happening in the community today. Today you'll learn about:

  • Veteran Army Sergeant First Class Kelly Haskin of Toledo walked from the Veterans Affairs Office on S. Detroit Avenue to the same office in Ann Arbor, MI to raise awareness for veteran suicide.
  • The Bowling Green Schools levy has failed after the unofficial vote tally on Election Day Tuesday.

  4. Equality Toledo is hosting FLAUNT at One Lake Erie Center at 616 Jefferson Avenue on November 12 to showcase local designers and artists, with the proceeds going to support LGBTQ activism. (WNWO)
  5. Friday the Toledo Zoo hosted its Student Watershed Watch Summit for the 33rd year in a row. Roughly 600 students participated in taking samples of area waterways to determine water quality. (La Prensa)
