- The Waterville City Council moved to send the controversial amphitheater project to the Board of Elections, which will determine whether the matter will be placed on a ballot before voters. The decision was made at a council meeting Monday night and the proposed amphitheater site is near US-24 and State Route 64. (WTVG) (WTOL)
- The family of fatal fraternity hazing victim Stone Foltz settled with Bowling Green State University and Pi Kappa Alpha for more than $10 million. Shari and Cory Foltz stated a large amount of the settlement will go toward the iamstonefoltz FOUNDATION, which advocates to end hazing in Greek life. (WTVG) (WNWO)
- Terry Place, 53, was found dead after he was reported missing last Thursday in South Toledo. Place was found in a duplex in the 500 block of South Avenue around 4:30 PM Saturday according to the Toledo Police. (WTOL)
- Toledo may be facing a winter storm Wednesday resulting in several inches of snow. The snow is reported to begin between 6 and 8 AM and continue through the afternoon. (WTOL)
- As firefighters have nearly a 10% higher chance of getting cancer than the public at large, the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department is taking preventative measures. According to Chief Allison Armstrong, TFRD firefighters are equipped with breathing equipment and instructed to wash dangerous chemicals off their gear after every fire. (WNWO)
