Arrested Man Can't Decide Which ID Will Keep Him Out of Trouble

A 25-year-old Bedford Heights man used his friend's name and Social Security number to get out of trouble ... until he found his friend was in even more hot water

A Bedford Heights man apparently had an identity crisis when he was arrested by the Garfield Heights Police Department on April 13.

"Brian Hoyle" was arrested by GHPD but had active warrants in Twinsburg, so officers went to pick him up. He gave police his name, Social Security number, was booked, finger prints and all, and thrown into jail.

After four hours, "Hoyle" decided that he didn't want to be "Hoyle" anymore. The man told police he was Dominique Moore, 25, and lied about his true identity to get out of trouble, because he also had active warrants.

Twinsburg police printed pictures from the BMV of both men and confirmed the man they had in custody was Moore.

Moore said he went to school with Hoyle and they would use each other's information to get out of trouble. He hadn't seen Hoyle for a while, so when he was arrested, knowing he had warrants and a suspended license, he used Hoyle's name.
