BOIL ALERT: Some Twinsburg Customers May Need to Take Precautions

Some residents in Twinsburg and Twinsburg Townships will have to boil water their water until 2 p.m. Thursday because of a water main break in Hudson.

The Twinsburg Police Department sent out a message Wednesday evening alerting some residents that they may need to boil their water because of a water main break in Hudson. 

Here's the note posted to the Twisburg Police Department's Facebook page:

"The water main break in Hudson is affecting customers in Hudson and Twinsburg Township. IF you live in the area of Darrow Road at the south limits of Twinsburg – Twinsburg Township AND YOU HAVE AKRON WATER as a water provider – you are under a boil alert until Feb. 14, 2013 at 2 p.m.

If you have any questions as to who your water service provider is – check you payment history. The Twinsburg Police Department has no access as to who your provider is."

Water should be boiled two minutes before consumption. The water main break is affecting about 250 customers. Those who do not have Akron water are not affected.
