Cash Checking Business Robbed in Twinsburg

Twinsburg Police are searching for a man who used a gun to rob a check cashing business on March 6.

The robber struck at Advance America on Darrow Road at about 5:58 p.m. March 6.

The suspect is described as "a black male in his  late 20's -early 30's, tall and slender, wearing a black hat, a black sweatshirt type jacket, a gray scarf and gray pants."

Police Chief Chris Noga said the robber used displayed a handgun during the robbery and that he took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect should call Twinsburg Police at 330-425-1234. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The case remains under investigation.
