CITY OF TWINSBURG, OHIO
In accordance with Section 7.01 of the Charter of the City of Twinsburg, eligible persons are invited to apply for the following available appointment to Boards and Commissions.

As pertains to all departments, commissions and boards, no person shall be appointed to or removed from, or in any way favored or discriminated against with respect to any appointive City position or administrative office because of race, sex, political or religious opinions or affiliations.
No elected officer or appointed employee of the City, whether engaged full or part-time, shall have any interest in the conduct of their office other than his/her fixed compensation, nor shall the public office be used to promote a monetary advantage or to conflict private interest.
The City of Twinsburg will be accepting applications for appointment to open boards and commissions. Applications must be received by Tuesday, February 16, 2021, by 4:30 pm to be considered. Twinsburg residents are invited to apply for an appointment to the following position and must present the qualifications set forth for the position:
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD – TWO OPENINGSMust be a resident of the City of Twinsburg holding no other public office in the municipality. Appointment by Council for a three-year term ending 3/31/24. Meetings are held the first and third Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOARD – ALL WARDSMust be a qualified elector of the City of Twinsburg residing in all wards. Appointment by Council for a two-year term ending 3/31/23. Meetings are held in August and September annually.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION – FIVE OPENINGSMust be a resident of the City of Twinsburg in any ward and may be an adult or high school student. Appointment by Council for a two-year term ending 3/31/23. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of February, March, April, May, September, and October with planned events throughout the year.
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION – WARDS 1, 2 & AT-LARGEMust be a resident of the City of Twinsburg residing in wards one, two and At-Large. Appointment by Council for a two-year term ending 3/31/23. Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of February, April, May, August and October. Other meeting dates to be added as needed along with other planned events throughout the year.
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION – WARDS 4 & 5Must be a resident of the City of Twinsburg residing in wards four and five. Appointment by Council to fill the remainder of terms ending 3/31/22. Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of February, April, May, August and October. Other meeting dates to be added as needed along with other planned events throughout the year.
