The 50 Book Challengers and all TPL readers are invited to celebrate a half year of reading and Charles Dickens' birthday. The party will include sweet and savory treats, beverages, prizes, a Dickens party game and books. There will be favors for everyone and special prizes for the Challengers who have completed 25 books in 2012.
In addition, Tom Hayes, an English professor at John Carroll University, will give a presentation on Dickens' most memorable and entertaining characters, "From Pips to Heeps."
