Acupuncture for Body, Mind & Spirit Wellness

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese Medicine that is over 2,000 years old, and continues to be widely used as a highly effective form of preventative and allopathic medicine. While acupuncture is a commonly used therapy for pain relief, it is also therapeutic treatment for a myriad of illness’ and imbalances, including women’s health issues, fatigue, digestion disorders, anxiety, depression, and allergies. Join Julia Proctor, Licensed Acupuncturist with University Hospital’s Connor Integrative Medicine Network, as she discusses how and why acupuncture works, the various symptoms it can treat, and how it can address all of your health needs as you strive for whole body/mind/spirit wellness and connection. During the last segment of the lecture there will be an opportunity to experience auricular acupressure, a Chinese Medicine micro system that is used to bring balance and harmony to all the major organ systems.
