Aquila Theater Company of New York City will present this free workshop on the staging of classical plays. The New York Times describes Aquila as “a classically trained, modernly hip troupe.” Their Master Class Mask Workshop is part of a major national humanities program traveling to public libraries and art centers across America: Ancient Greeks/Modern Lives: Poetry-Drama-Dialogue. It is open to a limited number of adult actors, teachers and others interested in the performing arts. Particpants are limited to 30. When full, registration will be taken for observers who may also participate in discussion afterward.
