On My Own Two Feet is a charitable marathon that raises funds to support victims of domestic violence. This year's marathon specifically will help raise funds to honor the memory of Tami Mitchell Wong, who died on Sunday, February 24, 2013 during a domestic dispute.
The proceeds of your donations and race fees all go towards local women in shelters to empower survivors of domestic abuse.
You may simply donate in Tami's honor on the registration page or choose to come run or walk a half or full marathon. The Portage Bike and Hike trail and Towner's Woods are simply a beautiful atmosphere to take in and reflect on the lives that are waiting to be changed for the better.
