Familiar Man Swipes Money From Woman as She's Paying

A man named 'Mike' grabbed cash from a Twinsburg woman as she was paying the cashier at a gas station

Even in a matter of seconds, money you place on a counter to pay for a purchase can be stolen.

In the early morning of Feb. 21, a Twinsburg woman set a $20 bill on the counter of the convenience store on East Aurora Road to pay the cashier. Out of nowhere a "light-skinned black male named Mike" stole the money and bolted out the door.

She told police he drove off in a small car but wasn't able to give them any more details. She did tell officers that she knew of "Mike" from the Ray Court area and heard he had been in trouble with the law before.
