Flags at Half-Staff until Sundown Wednesday

You might have noticed flags flying at half-staff at public buildings for the last couple days and guessed that the symbol was to honor the victims of the deadly rampage at a movie theater in Aurora, CO. 

Indeed, President Barack Obama did make the proclamation on July 20, and they remain at half-staff until sundown today (July 25).

Shannon Collins of the Twinsburg mayor's office confirmed that the flags were to be at half-staff to honor the shooting victims until sundown today. 

Funerals have begun for some of the 12 people killed by a deranged gunman during a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" last Thursday night.
