Why Go: See rows and rows of some of the coolest cars, motorcycles, aircraft, trucks and boats, all under one roof at the vast I-X Center. Experience the vehicle and flight simulators. Watch an indoor Soap Box Derby race. Live music each day, including the legendary Armstrong Bearcat Band on Saturday.

2. Madama Butterfly

Where/When: Solon Center For The Arts, 6315 SOM Center Rd., Solon.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 3 p.m.

Why Go: See this classic opera by Giacomo Puccini. Directed by Jonathon Field. Starring Marion Vogel, Timothy M.R. Culver and Brian Johnson. Done in partnership with the Kent State University Hugh A. Glauser School of Music Opera Workshop.

3. Streetsboro Quilt Guild 29th Annual Quilt Show

Where/When: Faith Baptist Church, 9890 S.R. 43, Streetsboro.

Friday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 1, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: This is one of the larger judged shows in the area. More than 200 quilts on display. Bake Sale. Country store and vendor mall with many hand-crafted items for purchase. Win a quilt in the raffle.

Pricing: $3 general admission. Free parking.

Where/When: Case-Barlow Farm, 1931 Barlow Rd., Hudson.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Visit the historic farm and enjoy a slice of the past. Fun for the whole family. Participate in old-time games including bobbing for apples, sack races, horseshoes and scavenger hunts. See antique cars, tools and historic displays, or visit with the farm animals, alpacas and raptors. Watch domestic farm-life demonstrations including bread making, weaving and quilting. Commemorative events for the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

Pricing: $6 adults, $5 for youth 2 - 18 years old.

5. International Year of Forests: Autumn Secrets

Where/When: Oak Hill Trailhead, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, 3901 Oak Hill Rd., Peninsula.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Take this hike and witness the beginning of the fall season changes. Follow Ranger Paul Motts on this 3-mile hike through the Oak Hill trail system and learn about the foliage changing colors, animals preparing for winter and the happenings in woodland ponds.

Pricing: Free and open to the public. Sturdy footware recommended, and be prepared to get them wet.

6. Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans

Where/When: Cleveland Browns Stadium, 100 Alfred Lerner Way, downtown Cleveland lakefront.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Every Northeast Ohio resident should experience a Browns game at least once in their lifetime, and tickets are still available for this game. Make sure to get there early to wander through one of the amazing tailgating areas or various downtown restaurants and bars. It's still early in the season, but your NFL team is tied for first place in their division.

Pricing: Ticketmaster indicated tickets are available at prices ranging from $25 to $310, with a purchase limit of 8 seats. Ticket availability subject to change, so go to clevelandbrowns.com for updates and options.
