Why Go: This is the summer finale and features a performance by the Solon High School Faculty Jazz Ensemble. Any event proceeds benefit the Solon High School Drama Club Scholarship Program.

2. Rock The Park: Stone Pony Band

Why Go: The local outdoor concert season continues with a night dedicated to the sound and style of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Why Go: This is the 74th edition of the classic American race. See determined youngsters battle on a hill in Akron for the world championship title. The historic 954-foot track continues to bring attention from around the globe to Northeast Ohio. Event includes informative displays and derby carts from the past, as well as food and drink options and family activities.
Pricing: $5 general admission.

Why Go: Cleveland's Irish Cultural Festival seeks to preserve, memorialize and document Irish History and Traditions. See over 200 exhibits on everything Irish. Music and dance on indoor and outdoor stages with over 24 performers, including pipe bands. Traditional festival food as well as bangers, bridies, corned beef, Irish stew, fish & chips, shrimp, chicken and more.
Pricing: $10 general admission, children 10 and under are free. Free parking.
6. Cleveland Indians Baseball

Why Go: Your Cleveland Indians are still fighting at the top of the American League Central Division and face the Chicago White Sox for three games. The stadium features Beach Weekend, with 200 tons of sand, a surf machine, dunk tank and Jimmy Buffet cover band. The new Rally Alley also opens for the first time just outside of Gate B with street festivities, live entertainment and food options.
